- You need of Wet ingredients:.
- It’s 3 cups of Butter or ghee or oil (room temp).
- Prepare 3 of and 3/4 cup Sugar (powdered).
- It’s 12 of Eggs (room temp).
- You need of Few drops vanilla essence.
- You need of Dry ingredients:.
- Prepare 5 of and 3/4 cups All purpose flour (sifted).
- Prepare 4 tsp of baking powder.
- Prepare of Zarda food colour as required.

- Step 1: In a bowl beat butter or oil or ghee with sugar until creamy..
- Step 2: Then add eggs one at a time. And beat until well combined..
- In another bowl mix all the dry ingredients (except food colour)..
- Step 4: Then gradually add the sifted dry ingredients (flour and baking powder) and vanilla essence until well combined..
- Step 5 : Then add the zarda food colour into the cake mixture. There is ratio of food colour you can add as much as you like to make your cake yellow. But dont add a lot of it. Mix well.
- Step 6 : Then in two greased tins divide the cake mixture and bake it in a preheated oven for about 40 -45 mins aur until aur toothpick came out clean..
- Step 7 : When the cake is fully baked allow it to cool completely on a wire rack..
- Step 8 : When the cake is fully cooled cut it in the shape of cake rusk. Then arrange it in a baking tray..
- Step 9: Bake the cake rusk on very very low flame from bake sides. Until golden brown from both sides and the moisture fully drys…
