Ingredients of Swiss Roll Sandwich
- You need 4 of eggs.
- It’s 100 g of self-raising flour.
- You need 125 g of caster sugar.
- Prepare 1 tsp of vanilla extract.
- You need 100 ml of whipping cream.
- You need 50 g of raspberry/strawberry jam.
Swiss Roll Sandwich instructions
- Preheat the oven to gas mark 5 (190C) and line a tin with grease proof paper.
- Whisk the eggs, sugar and vanilla extract until fluffy and light.
- Sift the flour and fold into the mixture.
- Pour into the tin and bake for 15min.
- Leave the cake to cool on a wire rack and cut into rectangles.
- Layer on each slice of cake some raspberry jam and the whipping cream on top. Cut the cake in half to make a square and put one half on top of the other to make your sandwich!!.
