  1. Preheat Oven to 180fan/400f/200c.
  2. Into a large bowl sieve your flour, sugar and baking powder.
  3. Add your eggs, butter and milk.
  4. Combine well (have a cheeky taste, even though it will b perfect).
  5. Split mixture into two 20cm cake tins.
  6. Whack into oven for 20 mins.
  7. Once done turn onto a cooling rack.
  8. Now make your butter cream.
  9. Combine your butter, icing sugar and vanilla extract.
  10. Once your cake has cooled, spread jam on top layer and your buttercream on bottom layer and place together.
  11. Finish with a sprinkle of icing sugar for decorative purposes.
