  2. You need 1/4 cup of corn Flour.
  3. Prepare 120 g of unsalted Butter.

  7. Prepare 1 cup of icing Sugar + additional for dusting.

  1. Sieve 1.5 cups flour thrice. Add corn flour and mix.
  2. Add 2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt, sieve & mix with the flour.
  3. Blend 1 cup icing sugar, 120 gms butter until creamy.
  4. Add 2 eggs, 1 at a time, beat until pale & frothy.
  5. Add 2 tbsp sour cream, 1/2 cup milk, 2 tsp vanilla essence, blend well.
  6. Gradually add the flour mix & blend.
  7. Pour batter into a lined baking tin.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20-25 mins or until done.
  9. Allow to cool for 15-20 mins.
  10. Demould, top with icing sugar, serve with jam, berries & a steaming cup of tea.
