- Light your jiko/Meko and place your pot with water..
- Line your baking tin with parachment paper.
- Prepare your chocolate batter (Check the recipe in my profile).
- Pour the batter in the baking tin.
- Cover with foil and place it, in the steam.
- Cover the pot.
- Give it 20-30mins, then check by opening the foil to check if the cake has settled.
- Prepare the mocha batter(Check my profile for the recipe).
- Add ontop of the steaming chocolate cake.
- Cover and give it 20 mins….
- After 20 mins check if it has settled..
- Prepare the vanilla batter(Check my profile for recipe).
- Add the vanilla batter to the mocha batter..
- Cover and let it bake in steam..
- When it has settled transfer to a preheated oven 180degrees…you can continue steaming till well baked but i transfered because i wanted the golden brown colour… My kids can't eat a cake if they don't see the golden brown crust, they think without the golden brown crust the cake is not well baked😂😂😂😂.
