Grandma's Carrot Cake step by step
- Pre heat oven to 350.
- Beat eggs untill floppy, add sugar and beat till blended, add oil and beat till blended.
- Add carrots, pineapple, vanilla, and nuts and stir to blend.
- In a seperate bowl sift together salt, baking powder, nutmeg, flour, baking soda, and cinnamon.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix till well blended.
- Pour into a 9X13 cake pan and bake 45-60 minutes.
- To make icing put all ingredients together in bowl and beat until well blended.
- Once cake has finished baking let cool completely before covering in icing.
