  1. beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla until volume is raised and its fluffy.
  2. add the flour in two to three shifts siffting each time.
  3. with a light hand combine the flour and baking powder making sure you dont loose the volume.
  4. preheat oven to 180°c.
  5. grease pan with oil and place baking sheet or butter paper.
  6. pour out the batter into the pan and bake for 28-30 minutes.
  7. when done cool for a few minutes and then carefully take out the ready sponge and remove the paper.
